CINI is proud to announce the official starting of the H2020 Project IMPETUS - Intelligent Management of Processes, Ethics and Technology for
Urban Safety, which aims to enhance the resilience of smart cities in the face of security threats in public spaces.
Using data gathered from multiple sources, IMPETUS will facilitate detection of threats and help human operators dealing with threats to make better informed decisions.
The IMPETUS consortium consists of 17 partners from 11 different EU Member States and Associated Countries. It brings together 5 research institutions, 7 specialist industrial and SME companies, 3 NGOs and 2 local government authorities. The consortium will be complemented by COSSEC (Community of Safe and Secure Cities).
CINI participates to IMPETUS Consortium through it "Big Data" National Lab.
The duration of the project is 24 months.
