Open position: Experienced Researcher in Quality Assurance processess and methodologies

Assioma.net has opened a position for an experienced researcher in Quality Assurance processess and methodologies.
This available position is located in European project to the purpose to establish the basis for a long term strategic research collaboration between the Partners in the domain of software quality assurance. Involved Partners are in academic and industrial area; Assioma.net is one of industrial partners and project coordinator.
The activities of hired researcher on the project will be carried out in about 24 months, beginning from September 2013. The expected end of the project is February 2017. The activities will be carried out in Milan and Turin, Italy.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a PhD/MBA degree in Computer or Telecommunication Engineering.

Essential skills and required experiences:
He / She should have proven experience in :
• Software Testing Process and Methodologies
• SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
• Usage of QA methodologies in business cases
• Software quality and metrics
• Statistical analysis and decision systems
• Fluent English


Also, it is desirable to have:
• Competencies from ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certifications scheme
• Competencies in Data Mining
• Competencies in Static Code Analysis
• Competencies in Object Oriented Programming (desired Java)
• Knowledge of Italian language


Ideal candidate is open – minded and shows desire to learn, research and keep updated on the state of art on these fields. He/She’s able to work in a flexible way, independently and in team, has excellent documentation skills. The candidate must be available to travel and must have fluent English and good communication skills.

Constraint
In according to European project’s rules, at the time of selection the candidate must not have resided or carried
out his/her main activity in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to selection.
